Real Talk

"Never say that god never gave you the opportunity to give you whatever you desired"

If you think about it no matter what it is you want right now, there was and still is a chance for you to get it.  Even right at this exact moment.  You want a new car? look in the paper and make a decision. You want a hit single? get yo ass to work on that pro tools. You wanna a beach body? get yo big ass on that P90X.  Any way you put it, somewhere there is a no excuse response.

so what was it that you wanted again?

Quote of the Day

Nobody ever gets the right impression

We spend all this time preparing, perfecting and getting ourselves together in our eyes so that people recognize and respect what we are projecting and dont get the wrong impression about us.  The thing is, nobody thinks like you. Let me rephrase that, NO BODY THINKS LIKE YOU!  It doesn't matter what you put on, what you say, how you talk or what you want others to see, they will always see what they want to see.  Might as well stop trying to be flawless and just be you, they not gone get it right anyway.

Quote of the Day

Life is easy, Living is hard

There is a saying that goes "life is only what you make it", well it goes both ways.  Life would be alot more simpler if you simplify it.  Granted that nothing is technically "easy", some people find it hard just to get out of bed in the morning to go to work, while others have no problem.  Kobe can score 20 points with ease while I probably couldn't score 20 on the bulls in the NBA.  What im saying is, its all the extra stuff in life that makes living hard, you got debt, BMW car note, and other things we find a way to blow money on.  How about you try to be humble and simplfy your needs/wants to make you life just a little bit easier.

The Future Begins Tomorrow. Raise the bar. Over and over again, raise the bar. Impossible a week ago is not good enough. You want stuff that is impossible today, because as they say at Yoyodyne, the future begins tomorrow.

Quote of the Day

Smooth Seas do not make skillful sailors

How easy do you think it is going to be?  I hope you face some type of adversity, because if you ever have to compete against someone who has, you are going to lose based on the fact that you have never figured out how much skill you really have.

Quote of the Day

Most people walk around in their problems. They view life through their perceived limitations. They measure today by what happened yesterday.  DONT DO THAT SHIT. lol

Quote of the Day

You cant create abundance if you are focused on scarcity

When it comes to having a vision, if are steady worrying about what you don't have then that's all you are going to get. Its not what you have its what you do with it. People make a dollar out of 15 cents by focusing on the dollar and not the 15 cents.

Quote of the Day

Stop downplaying your importance in/to this world

In general, people are modest about their abilities and the role that their products and services can play in society. Why? Perhaps it's because they're afraid to stand out. Or they are scared that if they elevate their sights, they'll be disappointed.

Whatever the reason, being overly modest doesn't serve themor the world. I'm not telling you to boast or make false claims, but why wouldn't you want to think and act as if you can serve our civilization's highest ideals, if such elevation is possible?

If you're a publisher, you don't produce mere books, you give people the means to transcend their current station in life. You give them knowledge that they can translate into real-world achievements. You provide them with rest and solace when daily life proves too much. You help readers focus
on human kind's higher ideals. These are wonderful and genuine qualities. Why not claim them ?

Give yourself a wider, deeper understanding of how you and your offerings benefit the world. Push yourself on this. Select a benefit that your work brings, and further it until you get a clear picture of how it helps the world.

If you produce microchips for an automobile manufacturer, you protect the lives of millions of people who count on your work to get them to and from their destinations in safety.

If you manufacture dress shoes, you help people feel better about how they look so that they can go through their day with more confidence.

If you organize office space, you help businesses function more smoothly so their employees are less stressed and can spend m ore time making the company money.

This is not a snow job, snake oil, or self-deception. lt's a full look at why you do what you do. YOU GET THE IDEA THO!

On Creativity : "Its easier to play tennis without a net"

If you find yourself stuck trying to come up with a new idea or just trying to call on your creative side.  Forget everything you know and pretend there are no rules or guidelines.  Then you will probably come up with something good.

Quote of the Day

"When Life Gives you Lemons, save the seeds, plant a lemon tree, and sell lemons for a little fee." - Louchi

There are times in life where you are going to get dealt the worst hand, the only thing you can do is take advantage of it.  Making something out of nothing is easier said then done, its a bitter sweet hustle, but you will reap all of the rewards.  So take the sour part of live and turn it into a positive somehow.  Grow your assets and I promise you that you will look at lemons in a different light.  Sometimes they can be a good thing, and force you to look harder and see more then you ever thought you could.

Quote of the Day

Stop doing what you are just OK at.

The only way to truly be of value is to be a master at at least one thing. The only way to do that is to stop spreading yourself thin with all of your other work. Pick one thing and be a master at that first. People will pay for someone that is a master at one thing over someone who is just ok at everything. By all means you can be multitalented but just know where your bread and butter is.

Quote of the Day

"Sometimes you gotta put down your Fresh Prince, and pick up your Carlton"

I know, I know, who wants to be Carlton Banks right? Well in real life, Carlton probably has a nice job with health benefits and assets coming from left and right. And Will? I cant call it but judging strictly from his work ethic he is probably slacking somewhere. Charisma and Personality goes a long way but not longer then the right tools and foundation. So next time you gotta make a decision about your life, make the smart one not the cool one. You never know who is thinking about hiring yo ass.

Yes i know tony yayo is in the picture.

Quote of the Day

"Thanks For Leading"

Leadership is scarce because few people are willing to go through the discomfort required to lead.

The scarcity makes leadership valuable. If everyone tries to lead all the time, not much happens. It’s discomfort that creates the leverage that makes leadership worthwhile.

In other words, if everyone could do it, they would, and it wouldn’t be worth much.

It’s uncomfortable to stand up in front of strangers.
It’s uncomfortable to propose an idea that might fail.
It’s uncomfortable to challenge the status quo.
It’s uncomfortable to resist the urge to settle.

When you identify the discomfort, you’ve found the place where a leader is needed.

If you’re not uncomfortable in your work as a leader, it’s almost certain you’re not reaching your potential as a leader.
