Louchiano

Since his emergence in 2006, Louchiano has been a bit of a mystery. Today he’s a simple-minded street kid brimming with ignorance and arrogance, tomorrow he’s an articulate lyricist filled with humility and the god given ability to create metaphors and sporadic flows. At first it seems as if its too much to deal with, but its his honesty and sincerity that it makes it hard to hate him.

Born and Raised in Chicago, Louchiano made a name for his self by speaking from the heart and gained respect because of his willingness to bear all in his music. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the just don’t make any sense. He represents the self-proclaimed “East Side” of Chicago and though he remains undeniably true to his inner city roots, he continues to shatter stereotypical expectations of what it means to be an artist as well as a young black man.

In the winter of 2006, Louchiano recorded his debut album entitled “Audio Crack”, though it remained a underground project, reviews stated that it set the lyrical bar as high as it could have ever been set. As he progressed, fans and critics began to respond to his music as they unraveled the many layers that lied behind his passionate yet sarcastic attitude matched with a devilish boyish face. Though he seems to have a grip on sanity, his music allows listeners to indulge into the mind of someone who knows no creative limits. “I know too much for my own good.” Louchiano stated,

“All I want is be different and challenge people to think. I want to entertain and educate. Too often we condemn rappers because there is no substance, yet no one could dream of getting rid of shallow subject matter and addictive instrumentals because it sells records and makes people feels good. I want to be the first to combine witty wordplay and complex metaphors to deliver a profitable product that Edutains. I make music for humans, people that need it. People respect me cause I don’t expect them to, I demand it.”

Louchiano is currently promoting his mix tape entitled “Smooth Criminal” and working on his second album entitled “The Promise”. “I put this on my life, I refuse to be regular as for as this music goes, I am a simple man that like simple shit, but as far as rap is concerned, I will be different, I will not blend in. I aim to please and shoot to kill. Triple R, Real Recognize real, IMG.”
